We provide boarding for our current clients’ canine and feline family members. For pets with health concerns, and those on medication, we offer additional supervision with medical boarding for just a few dollars more.
Facilities: Boarding dogs are each assigned a kennel or run, and we take them outdoors 3-4 times each day for a walk, fresh air and sunshine. In the evening, after their final walk, they return to their kennels for dinner and a good night’s sleep. Cats are housed in kennels with plenty of “elbow room” away from dogs. For our dedicated technician assistants, keeping our boarders and patients well supplied with “TLC” is the highlight of their jobs!
Vaccines needed: Vaccines should have been given 10 days or more prior to admission.
- Distemper/Hepatitis/Parainfluenza/Parvo (DHP-P)
- bordatella (kennel cough)
- distemper (FVRCP)
- feline leukemia (or test negative for the virus)
In addition, for the protection of your pet, as well as others, all boarders must be free of communicable diseases and parasites, both internal and external (worms and fleas!). If necessary, we can treat your pet for parasites upon arrival.
Scheduling your pet’s stay: Boarding reservations are made through our receptionists. We schedule an admission appointment with a tech assistant to discuss your pet’s specific needs, so please allow time for the boarding check-in.
Going home: Pets may be picked up during regular hours of operation. However, if prepaid, arrangements can be made for a 6:30pm pick up on Sunday evening. If you bring a toy or blanket for your pet, please be sure it is clearly labeled.
