Julie
If you ask one of the other receptionists how many times a day they hear the phrase ‘could I please just talk to Julie. She knows me..’ they will tell you that the times are too many to count. Julie has worked for us for over 20 years and, many will tell you, is the face of the Livonia Vet reception desk. Julie knows everyone. Julie knows every pet. And Julie connects with them all. She is the first to march out and ‘steal’ a puppy or kitten to ‘socialize it’ with hugs and kisses. Julie is mom to two grown daughters and ‘Nana’ to two wonderful granddaughters.
Julie’s favorite activity by far is to be Nana. But she also loves her home time, either reading or doing needle point. Previously a longtime beagle owner, Julie now treasures her two kitties
When asked why she comes to work each day, Julie will tell you: Work is ‘home’ and my extended family.

Nicole
Nicole joined our team in 2022 after working at Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services of Rochester as a Veterinary Technician on their surgery team. Nicole has been in the world of veterinary medicine since she was 18. She has worn many hats along the way including being a Veterinary Assistant, Licensed Vet Tech and now a Receptionist. She enjoys educating clients and seeing all the animals we see day-to-day. She likes being a part of the team that works together to work towards a common goal. She has a family of two dogs (Zero a yorkie and Hannah a shepard/husky mix), 5 cats (Nyx, Fozzie Bear, Thomas, Luna, and Nala), and 6 chicken ladies. Fun fact- Nicole is usually found wearing her chicken sloggers around the office! Oh by the way she also has four teenage humans- we don’t know how she does it! In what spare time she has, Nicole enjoys: hiking, 4-wheeling, and camping.
